The Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc is one of the world’s leading events for trail running enthusiasts — off-road running in natural environments. Starting from Chamonix, the route forms a 171-km loop, crossing 18 French, Italian, and Swiss communes, including Saint-Gervais and Les Contamines.

The UTMB showcases the strong sense of community that defines trail running. It is also the perfect opportunity, for both spectators and participants, to immerse themselves in the splendour of the Alpine landscape, through forests, alpine pastures, and the iconic mountain passes of the Mont-Blanc massif.

Where to stay: Chalet Choquette, Les Houches
