No lifts? No problem! Ski touring allows you to explore the mountains and take in the views in your own time.

This year ski and snowboard enthusiasts can keep the spirit of winter alive by trying some alternative snow-sports. In many ski resorts the season runs until mid-April so, depending on the snow, activities such as Nordic skiing, snowshoeing and ski touring are still possible if you need a last snow fix of the season! Bear in mind that you may need to hire specialist equipment for these, so make sure to contact your local ski rental shop for more information.
