Situated in the hamlet of Saint-Marcel, Chalet Marcel is just a five-minute drive from Saint-Martin-de-Belleville. This Alpine village is known for its authentic stone and wooden farms, along with a few ski rental shops and Savoyard restaurants. You will also be just a few metres away from the 3-star Michelin restaurant La Bouitte, located on the same road.
Belleville is part of the extensive 3 Vallées ski area, which includes Val Thorens (18km away), famous for its lively atmosphere. In summer, activities include hiking, cycling and various water sports in the region’s rivers and lakes.

About the property…
Chalet Marcel is a luxurious four-storey property for up to 12 guests (including 10 adults) in the Belleville Valley. It has five bedrooms, each of which has an en-suite bath or shower room.
The ground floor is the wellness and entertainment area. This is where you’ll find the home cinema as well as a relaxation area with loungers, a sauna, a steam room, and a heated indoor pool. There are also shower and toilet facilities.
On the first floor are the first three double bedrooms. Two of them have en-suite shower rooms, while the master suite has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and double sink. It also has a TV, a walk-in wardrobe and a television. Two bedrooms open onto the terrace and its Nordic bath. There is a separate toilet on this floor.
The second floor is dedicated to the magnificent open-plan living area. There’s a comfortable seating area with several sofas arranged around the TV and the fireplace, a large dining table and a fully equipped kitchen with a wine store, large refrigerator and an induction hob. Floor-to-ceiling windows fill the room with light, and glass doors open onto a terrace with outdoor seating.
The third floor is home to two more bedrooms, each with an en-suite shower room and a separate toilet. One bedroom has a double bed and a television, while the other has two sets of bunk beds, perfect for four children. Each bedroom has its own private balcony.
On the practical side, on the ground floor you’ll find a ski room with heated boot dryers, a garage for one car, and a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer.
About the area…
The chalet is located in the hamlet of Saint-Marcel, just a 5-minute drive from Saint-Martin-de-Belleville. This peaceful village is particularly popular with families, who appreciate its tranquillity and its ski area designed for beginners.
Les Belleville is part of the Trois Vallées ski area, one of the largest in the world with 160 ski lifts and 600km of slopes for all levels. From Chalet Marcel, you can easily reach the glaciers of Val Thorens and the slopes of Les Ménuires, Méribel and Courchevel.
There's no shortage of exciting activities for you to choose from outside the winter season. Within an easy drive of the chalet, you will be able to try paragliding, climbing, via ferrata, canyoning or rafting on the River Isère.
Saint-Martin-de-Belleville has a selection of shops, bars and restaurants. And while it doesn't offer a lively nightlife, you'll enjoy the traditional warmth and authenticity of a Savoyard village.

First of all, a big thank you to the owners for their warm welcome and their attention throughout our stay. The chalet is absolutely remarkable: top-of-the-range facilities, tasteful décor, fully equipped and offering absolute comfort. It truly offers all the benefits of a luxury hotel, combined with the privacy and warmth of a private chalet.
Chalet Marcel was immaculate on our arrival and the entire property is perfectly maintained. Every detail has been thought of to ensure guests can enjoy their holiday to the full.
A big thank you also to the concierge team for their helpfulness and professionalism.
For those wishing to make the experience even more perfect, I highly recommend opting for the shuttle service offered as an extra. It’s a real luxury that allows you to enjoy your stay without any hassle.

Each bedroom has its own bath or shower room, and four of them open onto a balcony or terrace, where you can enjoy the Alpine air over morning coffee. The spacious master suite on the first floor has an impressive bathroom with a freestanding bath, a walk-in wardrobe and a television.
On the top floor, a room with two sets of bunk beds can comfortably accommodate four children.
The living area is one of the highlights at Chalet Marcel. The seating area, with its fireplace and large sofas, becomes the heart of family gatherings, while the fully equipped kitchen will inspire you to create delicious meals.

We have been coming to ski in Saint-Martin-de-Belleville for over 15 years, attracted by the village's authentic atmosphere, its family-friendly character and its excellent access to the world's largest ski area: Les 3 Vallées.
We chose to make our dream a reality by building this 300m² chalet in Saint-Marcel. We were won over by its exceptional location, its panoramic mountain views and its proximity to the slopes, just a few minutes’ walk away.
We wanted this chalet to be a true retreat, combining comfort, elegance and hospitality. Every detail has been carefully considered to offer a warm and stylish experience, perfect for gatherings with family or friends.
After a day’s skiing on the 3 Vallées slopes, a mountain hike or an excursion into the heart of the Savoyard countryside, relax in the swimming pool, sauna or hot tub, with views of the peaks.
