About The One Chalet ...
Based on an authentic Savoyard farmhouse, this five-star chalet in Morzine has everything you need for the perfect Alpine holiday.
When you enter the chalet, you’ll feel as if you have slipped between the pages of an interior design magazine. Original wooden features are enhanced by the high-quality materials used for the renovation and the elegant furniture — all highlighted by the wonderful light from the many full-height windows and doors.
With an indoor pool, sauna and room for up to 11 guests, there's plenty of room to gather in the spacious living room, cook up a feast in the elegant kitchen or enjoy the sunshine and the wonderful views from the balconies, terraces or in the garden.
The chalet is situated in a small hamlet just 10 minutes walk from the centre of Morzine, so you can enjoy all the facilities of this busy mountain resort before returning to the peace and quiet of The One chalet.
About the property ...
Accommodation at The One Chalet is set over two floors and the refurbished "mazot" or outbuilding.
On the lower ground floor you'll find the wonderful pool and sauna with a shower and a separate WC. There are also two double bedrooms, one with access to a terrace, which share a bathroom which is accessible from both bedrooms.
The main living area is on the upper floor. There are two large seating area with comfortable sofas, as well as other areas with chairs and tables, perfect whether you want to get together or socialise in smaller groups. Doors open on to balconies on three sides of this light-filled space, so you're never far from a wonderful view.
The sleek, modern kitchen has everything you need to cook up a hearty meal, and there's a central island and breakfast bar where you can grab a quick snack before heading out for the day. Look out for the glass floor which overlooks the pool!
The kitchen links the living area with the dining room, where there's room for everyone to enjoy dinner together and share memories of the day. There's a useful office area on this floor as well as two bedrooms - a double room with a bathroom off the dining area and a bunk room for two off the living area.
The remaining two bedrooms can be found in the separate mazot - there's a large double bedroom with a terrace and a separate bathroom, and another room with three single beds, an en suite shower room and a balcony. These two rooms are perfect for a family who would like some independence.
There's plenty of parking outside the chalet, as well as a large garage.
About the area ...
The chalet is less than a kilometre from the pistes and 450m from the ski bus, so you can be in the heart of the Portes du Soleil in no time at all. The region’s 12 ski resorts offer 650km of slopes and almost 200 lifts, so there is plenty of choice for skiers and boarders of all abilities.
This winter sports paradise crosses the border into Switzerland - experienced skiers will enjoy the challenge of the infamous Swiss Wall, one of the fastest descents on any piste map. If you’re not a skier, and you manage to tear yourself away from the sauna and pool at The One Chalet, Morzine also offers indoor and outdoor ice skating rinks, which are often host to ice hockey matches.
The more adventurous might like to try snowmobiling or tandem paragliding, or discover the area in a more sedate manner on a sleigh ride. Other ways to have fun include snowshoeing and sledging, while the Indiana adventure park in Morzine offers a variety of activities for all ages.
There’s just as much going on in Morzine in the summer as in the winter. The slopes and mountain trails become a paradise for mountain bikers - put your bike on the ski lift to go up the mountains and save your energy for the adrenalin-filled descent.Walkers can take advantage of the lifts too, to discover high-altitude trails and stunning views.
Morzine has earned Famille Plus status for its excellent childcare and entertainment — perfect for young families. You can also take advantage of the Portes du Soleil Multi Pass, offering unrestricted access to the full range of family activities.
Both Morzine and neighbouring Avoriaz have great water parks and two summer sledging runs. The Indiana adventure park offers a range of assault courses to suit all ages, and other activities include climbing, rafting, via ferrata, canyoning, mini-golf, quad bikes, fishing, kayaking and hiking.
Small children (and big kids!) will love the village of Les Lindarets, where goats wander freely — it’s a great place to stop for lunch too.

The One Chalet is a stylish 5-star property with five bedrooms and four bathrooms, just a short walk from the centre of Morzine, in the Portes du Soleil. The accommodation is spread out over two main floors, plus a separate "mazot" or traditional outbuilding, so there's plenty of space for 11 guests.
The facilities are amazing - there's an indoor pool with sauna and shower, and the stylish kitchen has a glass floor so you can keep an eye on what's happening in the pool below!
The generous living room has several seating areas for big gatherings or intimate conversations, and has doors to balconies or terraces on three sides. Not only does this give you great views, it also means that the room is full of light.
There's a spacious dining room as well as a breakfast bar, so whether you're planning to grab a snack or sit down and eat together, there's always a seat with a view.
There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms in the main house, and another two bedrooms, a bathroom and a shower room in the separate mazot. This makes The One Chalet a perfect for choice for two or three families who would like their own privacy while still having the space to get together and share meals.

As soon as we saw it, we fell in love with this farm, which we've enlarged and lovingly renovated.
We were seduced by its proximity to the centre of Morzine, the unique views of Pleney and the village and the sunny surroundings which back onto a forest.

“Beautifully decorated chalet!”
We loved this chalet this summer, but we couldn't help ourselves but think how wonderful it would be in winter with the sauna and swimming pool! We recommend Chalet The One whether it's for a family of 4 or for several families as there is plenty of room for two families to share.

A chalet overlooking the valley with beautiful views. Well placed for the pistes and the centre of the village. Well furnished with a lovely pool. The layout works well for three families, there's a Netflix account, snow is cleared for cars and the sauna works well.

The communication prior to arrival, greeting on arrival, help with local queries during our stay and of course the chalet itself were of the highest order. Great family space which other chalets seem to lack for larger bedroom properties. Great mix of restaurants, bars and shops as well as a great skiing area of course. Furthermore, helping out with logistics to the local hospital following an accident on the slopes with a family member went beyond the call of duty.
