This stunning five-star chalet for 12 is just 2km from the centre of Morzine, and a five-minute walk from the Nyon cable car, which will whisk you into the heart of the Portes du Soleil ski area. With a large outdoor hot tub, sauna, games room, and TV room, it’s a perfect retreat after a day skiing, cycling, or walking in the mountains.
The accommodation is set over six levels. On the upper level there's a bar area with a pool table, a study area and a glass walkway which leads to a magnificent bedroom with a lounge and en suite bathroom. A cosy TV area is on the mezzanine level, and below that there's the large lounge area, with sofas and a fireplace. The ski room, with boot and glove warmer is also on this floor.
The open plan kitchen is on the lower ground floor, next to the large dining area and the main balcony, which has excellent views. There are four more double en suite bedrooms on the lower levels.
The chalet has large, private grounds and backs on to a forest, while the little mazot hides a beautiful sauna, and there's a large hot tub outside - a magical setting when the sun goes down.
About the area
Located in the much sought after Vallée de la Manche, looking over the mountains and forest, and close to the river Dranse, this chalet offers a very special escape.
The Nyon cable car is less than one kilometre away, making it ideal for skiers keen to explore the huge Portes du Soleil ski area.
Morzine, with its shops, restaurants and bars, is a two kilometre walk away, or there’s a local bus that stops close by and runs regularly throughout summer and winter.
