About the property…

Chalet du Maz is a contemporary three-storey chalet. It can accommodate 10 guests thanks to four bedrooms, each with an en-suite shower or bathroom.

On the garden level you will find the steam room as well as the first two bedrooms. One is a double bedroom with a television, opening onto the garden and featuring an en-suite shower room with WC. The second room sleeps four in two sets of bunk beds, and leads to a bathroom with a bath and WC. There is storage space and a separate WC in the hallway.

On the ground floor, the L-shaped living room has two linked seating areas. The first has a large sofa in front of the fireplace and TV, while the other is bright and airy and overlooks the balcony. The well-equipped kitchen has a pantry and everything you need to cook up a feast, as well as a counter overlooking the large dining table. This space leads out onto a spacious terrace, where you will find the Nordic hot tub tucked away behind a hedge for privacy.

There’s a comfortable double bedroom with its own shower room and WC on this floor, as well as a separate toilet.

On the first floor, the master suite opens onto a balcony and features a bathroom with a shower and bath, two washbasins and a separate WC. There is also a peaceful reading room with a balcony.

On the practical side, there is parking for one car in the garage and room for two more outside – a real luxury so close to the centre of Megève. Chalet du Maz also has a ski room with a heated boot dryer.

About the area…

Megève is the most well-known of the eight resorts that make up the Évasion Mont-Blanc ski area. Both chic and traditional, it offers designer boutiques, gourmet restaurants and cosy cafés. The Palais des Sports, an impressive leisure complex, also has an Olympic ice rink, tennis courts, climbing walls and a large aquatic centre.

In winter, Megève offers access to more than 400km of ski slopes and nearly 120 ski lifts. There are green runs for beginners, while experienced skiers can enjoy off-piste skiing on Côte 2000 and Mont Joly. Megève is also the perfect starting point for ski touring. If you want to get away from the crowds, you can head to the other Évasion Mont-Blanc resorts such as Saint-Gervais-les-Bains, Les Contamines-Montjoie, Combloux, La Giettaz and Saint-Nicolas-de-Véroce.

During the rest of the year, you can explore 150km of hiking and cycling trails, while golfers can take on the 18 holes of the Domaine du Mont d’Arbois course, with views of Mont Joly and the Aravis mountains. You can also go paragliding, riding, or admire the Alps from above on a hot-air balloon flight. The village is also very popular with families, with treetop adventure parks, swimming pools, sports facilities and picnic areas by the lake.
