White water rafting is an activity everyone should try when on holiday in the Les Gets! Get your hair wet in La Dranse, the river that leaves Morzine towards Lake Geneva. Due to two levels being available, one beginner and one advanced, no previous experience is required. You can be riding the white water on your very first excursion!
The Les Gets golf course is challenging and is situated at 1500m, high above the resort. It is recommended to hire a buggy, take plenty of water and a good number of spare balls! With stunning views from every hole this is a beautiful course.
Kids and adults alike will love the adventure parks in Les Gets. Found by the Lac des Ecoles above the village the Les Gets Aventure Parc is a series of adventure courses where you have to navigate walkways and highwires through the trees. All done in total safety and with courses for all ages and abilities this is a fantastic activity for all the family on a summer holiday in Les Gets.
At the neighbouring lake you will find the Aqua Parc Wibit. Big and little kids from the age of eight will love playing and splashing around on this inflatable, floating obstacle course! For younger kids between five and eight there is also a dedicated “KidsParc”.
It isn’t all go go go in Les Gets in the summer. With a number of wonderful cultural attractions those looking for a slightly slower pace of holiday are well looked after too. Tours of local farms and artisan cheese producers are always a favourite with younger visitors and music lovers will adore the Mechanical Music Museum.
