Ideally located between Megève and La Clusaz, this magnificent Savoyard chalet has been designed to make the most of the surrounding scenery.
With a level garden, south-facing terraces, sauna, hot tub and games room, Chalet La Véyâ is perfectly equipped to provide you with an unforgettable holiday, whatever the season. The aged wood, stone and sympathetic décor create an authentic and warm atmosphere, ideal for successful stays with family or friends.
Just 300m from the ski bus that runs through the valley, Chalet La Véyâ is 3km from Le Plan in the Portes du Mont-Blanc ski area, which is connected to Combloux and Megève. Two ski passes are available: Portes du Mont-Blanc (100km of slopes) and Évasion Mont-Blanc (400km). And for even more options, the slopes of La Clusaz are only 14km away.
Outside the ski season, the mountains are a true paradise for cyclists, hikers, and paragliders. You can also try summer sledging and climbing, while the nearby lakes of Flumet and Praz-sur-Arly, just a few minutes away, and the aquatic centres in Megève and Combloux are the perfect places to cool off.
After an active day, you can relax on the terrace or in the hot tub and appreciate the panoramic views and the peace and quiet offered by Chalet La Véyâ.
About the property…
Chalet La Véyâ is a two-storey property for up to 14 guests. There are five bedrooms, each with their own bath or shower room.
The ground floor is dedicated to a spacious open-plan living area which is filled with natural light. The seating area features a large sofa with a television, the dining table can accommodate your entire group, and the modern, fully-equipped kitchen includes a wine store, two dishwashers and a central island with a breakfast bar. An adjoining outdoor terrace provides a second dining area, allowing you to enjoy meals while taking in the view. A ski room accessible from the parking area and entrance completes this level.
The garden level is home to the chalet's sleeping area. There are four double bedrooms, each with a television and an en-suite shower room with WC. The fifth room is dormitory-style bedroom for six people with bunk beds, connected to a bathroom with a shower and bath. Several bedrooms also include a desk, and there is also a separate toilet.
This floor also includes a sauna and a games room with a television, arcade machine, table football and a wine cellar where you can enjoy your own wine tastings. Outside, you will find a flat garden with sunbeds and a hot tub, perfectly positioned for relaxing while enjoying the scenery. A pétanque court and table tennis add to the facilities.
On the practical side Chalet La Véyâ offers a ski store and a secure bike shelter, as well as a laundry room with a washing machine and a dryer. Several outdoor parking spaces are available, some of which are under cover. There is also an electric vehicle charging station.
About the area...
La Giettaz is an unspoilt Savoyard village between the Aravis mountains and the Val d’Arly, close to Megève, Flumet and La Clusaz. Surrounded by mountain pastures and peaks, it offers a peaceful atmosphere and sweeping views. Its unspoilt centre, small shops and calm, welcoming setting make it a much-loved destination for families and nature lovers.
In winter, La Giettaz is a gateway to both Les Portes du Mont-Blanc, which encompasses Combloux and Megève with 100km of slopes, and the vast Évasion Mont-Blanc ski area, which boasts 400km of slopes. The 130km of slopes at La Clusaz are also within easy reach. Families enjoy the toboggan runs in the Plan area and winter walks in the Aravis mountains.
During the rest of the year, guests can enjoy excellent hiking, cycling and outdoor activities. Mountain trails lead to the Col des Aravis and the Étale mountain pastures, offering stunning views of Mont Blanc, and cyclists can tackle the iconic routes of the Tour de France. The resort hosts a wide range of family-friendly events and activities, whilst Lake Flumet, just a few minutes away, and the water parks in Megève and Combloux provide a chance to cool off.

It is very well designed and has everything you need for a great stay at any time of year. It’s also easily accessible with parking.
The spacious living area is very bright and comfortable, with a cosy feel that invites you to relax and socialise. The view is amazing.
The kitchen is very practical, with a full range of crockery, appliances and various accessories (including a wine store).
The bedrooms have everything you need, including great quality bedding. There’s plenty of space in the bunk room.
The chalet is well-insulated for sound and heat.
The outdoor area is very well appointed and there’s a wide range of leisure activities in the area for children and adults.

Skiers can choose to explore either Les Portes du Mont-Blanc, the domain Evasion Mont-Blanc or even L’Espace Diamant, offering something for all the family.
In the summer there are great mountain bike trails and walking routes, with a wealth of flora and fauna, plus a via ferrata.

This chalet is the result of a family history that began two generations ago, when our grandfather first discovered La Giettaz. When his son also fell in love with the place, he and his family set about building a chalet that blends rustic Savoyard charm with modern comfort.
In Savoyard patois, La Véyâ means “the evening gathering”, a time when locals come together to socialise and have fun. This is the very spirit of this chalet: a place to make shared memories, the kind that are cherished by all families and friends.
Completed in 2025, Chalet La Véyâ, in the Aravis mountains, has breathtaking views of the Étale and the valley. This peaceful and intimate setting is ready to receive you.
