In the summer there are great walks from the village - you can take the chairlift to the top of Mt Lachat and enjoy a picnic by the lake with a view of Mont Blanc on the way back down.

About the property ...

This stylish property has room for up to 13 guests, in accommodation spread over three floors, plus a mezzanine playroom. Built in 2022, it offers all the comforts you'd expect from a modern construction.

The main entrance on the ground floor takes you in to the well-appointed ski room, which has plenty of seating, storage and heated boot racks. There's a washing machine and dryer in the garage. Underfloor heating on this and every level means you'll always be guaranteed a warm welcome.

The rest of this floor has been designed mainly with younger guests in mind - they'll love having their own TV lounge, with table football and doors to the garden. There's also a home office area, making Chalet Mevi a great option for those who need to work while they are here. There's a double bedroom and a bunk room for four, as well as a large bathroom with a bath and shower, and a separate WC.

The open-plan living area is on the first floor. The bright kitchen has everything you need to cater for a crowd, including two ovens, a large fridge freezer and a dishwasher. The large dining table next to the fireplace is sure to be the setting for many memorable evenings together - after dinner you could grab a blanket and take your coffee on to the balcony for some stargazing! There's also a cosy seating area with a large L-shaped sofa and chairs and doors on to the balcony.

There are three more bedrooms on the second floor - a family room with a double bed and a single bed, two more double rooms with en suite shower rooms, and a separate shower room and WC.

Tucked under the eaves is another great relaxation space with huge floor cushions, throws, a TV and a net wall which adds another dimension to games!

Chalet Mevi has been thoughtfully designed by the owners to make sure guests have everything they need for a great stay. It will particularly appeal to groups with children, who will love having their own spaces.

About the area ...

Part of the Espace Diamant ski area in the Val d’Arly, Crest-Voland is a village which will suit guests looking to avoid high-rise, impersonal hotels and apartments. The village has Famille Plus status, making it a great choice for guests with children - there’s always something going on to keep children entertained. And with Chalet Mevi offering so much for younger guests, families are sure to have a great time.

The Logere chairlift leaves from the centre of the village, just a few steps from Chalet Mevi. The Espace Diamant has great skiing for families and mixed-ability groups too, as well as long, scenic cruising and some challenging terrain for more experienced skiers. There are two snowparks for boarders - a mixed-ability park and the Opoualand park for children. Cross-country and Nordic skiers will find 120km of great trails and village circuits to Les Saisies.

In the summer, you can enjoy relaxing walks, great hiking and biking, as well as fishing, and climbing. And the lifts stay open, so you can let them do the hard work while you enjoy the views and the downhill hike.

Crest-Voland is just 15km from Megeve, 8km from Col des Saisies and about 25km from Albertville and Sallanches, so there’s plenty more to explore.
