When you arrive at this fabulous, ultra-modern ski chalet in Chamonix, you'll find it difficult to believe that it is a 19th century farmhouse! This stunning transformation has resulted in an impressive and luxurious holiday rental for 16 people, with seven bedrooms in the main house, and a separate annexe.

The house is just 1km from the centre of Chamonix and the Aiguille du Midi cable car, and 200m from the nearest ski bus stop. And when you return from an exhilarating day on the pistes, you can relax in the chalet's own hot tub and sauna.

You'll enter the chalet on the first floor. The entrance lobby has plenty of room for storage, and there's a toilet. The open plan living area is arranged around a central fireplace - there's a long comfortable L-shaped sofa and chairs where you can all congregate to discuss your day, and a large dining table for 16, that make the most of the spectacular views. There's a sleek well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar, which makes cooking a sociable affair.

There are two bedrooms on the first floor; a master suite with a freestanding bath and an en suite shower room, and a twin/kingsize bedroom with an en suite shower room.

There are five more bedrooms on the lower floor, all of which can be arranged as twin or kingsize rooms, and have access to the terrace. Four of them have en suite shower rooms and the fifth has a bathroom. There's a second sitting room on this floor too, and a useful wet room.

The annexe, which sleeps up to four, is across the deck. With a twin/kingsize bedroom, a shower room, living room with a sofa bed and log burner, and a compact but well-equipped kitchen, it's perfect for guests who would like a little privacy.
