About the property

Accommodation at this stylish chalet for up to 10 guests is set over three floors.

There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, both of which have en suite shower rooms and access to the terrace and hot tub. One is a twin bedroom and the other, which also has desk space, can be arranged with a kingsize bed or two single beds. There's also a games room on this floor and a laundry room.

The open-plan living area on the first floor is light and bright, thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows and doors that open onto the sunny terrace. The kitchen has a large fridge freezer and everything you need to cater for a hungry crowd. When dinner is ready, you can choose to eat it at the dining table overlooking the terrace, or outside, where the fresh air is sure to boost your appetite! There's a barbecue too, if you would prefer to cook outside.

After dinner you can gather on the huge L-shaped sofa in front of the fire or watch the sunset from the terrace. Younger guests can head for the games room, where they can watch TV or enjoy a game of table football.

There are three more bedrooms on the top floor. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed, an en suite shower room and access to the balcony, and there's a children's room with bunk beds, a pull-out single bed and a sofa area. This room shares a separate bathroom with the final room, a double with desk space.

The chalet has a garage as well as outdoor parking, and there's a ski locker with a heated boot rack.

About the area

The tranquil ski resort of St Martin de Belleville is a great hit with families, due to its relaxed atmosphere and a superb dedicated ski area for beginners.

You'll find a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants, but if you're looking for lively apres ski, you might have to travel a bit further.

Fast lifts and 600km of pistes across the Trois Vallees, Les Menuires, Meribel and Courchevel mean there's plenty of scope for winter sport enthusiasts.

There's plenty for thrill-seekers in the summer too. Try paragliding, climbing, via ferrata or perhaps even white-water rafting and canyoning on the Isère river.
