Overview
This fabulous ski chalet for eight is in a great location in Morillon village, near Samoens - just 300m from the cable car and 150m from restaurants and a great bakery, where you can pick up fresh croissants every morning. And after a day's skiing, you can return to your chalet to work out in the gym, or chill out in the sauna or the games room.
If you're staying in summer, your own swimming pool will be waiting after a day biking or hiking in the mountains!
The chalet has a cosy seating area with a large sofa, chairs and bean bags around a woodburning stove. There's even a bar, where you can get together for a drink before dinner. The large kitchen is open plan, and has all the equipment you need to cook up a gourmet feast, and there's plenty of room to enjoy it at the large dining table. Doors open from this area onto the lovely sunny terrace, where you can enjoy a barbecue, soak up the sun or just admire the stunning mountain views.
There's also a petanque piste and a table tennis table. If you're staying in the summer, the owners have provided four bikes which you can use to explore the beautiful Giffre valley.
There are four bedrooms - two doubles, a large double, and a room with bunk beds and a single bed - and three bathrooms.
The games room is always popular with younger visitors - they can enjoy a game of pool, darts and table football or just curl up with a book from the library. Those looking to keep in shape will appreciate the gym, with a weights bench, rowing machine, exercise bike and elliptical trainer.
