1. Lac des confins – Lac des Confins loop from La Clusaz

This is an easy hike which is perfect for any fitness level, making it an ideal activity for families with younger kids. The starting point of the trail is conveniently located next to a car park and the paths are easily accessible to all.

Why not enhance your family itinerary by adding an extra activity at the Lac des Confins Adventure Park? Here, you can revel in a variety of activities, including a bouncy castle, acrotyro, trampolining, and a 300-metre zip wire suspended over the picturesque Confins Lake. For an even more adrenaline-pumping adventure, the park now offers a new and impressive 700-metre zip wire too! It’s important to keep in mind that the park is open only from late spring onwards.

2. La Clusaz to Belvedere-Merdassier

You’ll need half a day for this fairly challenging route, which takes you from La Clusaz, through forests and mountain pastures to the pretty Etale reservoir. Enjoy a breather before following the forest path up to Belvedere and you’ll be rewarded with a panoramic view over the valley, La Clusaz, the Col des Aravis, the Mont Blanc Massif and the Jura.

Commencing from the Cortibot tennis court car park in La Clusaz, Haute-Savoie, the trail unfolds into a captivating journey. Meandering through the enchanting Merdassier woods, the route continues past the serene Lachat reservoir, the picturesque Lac des Confins, and finally, the majestic Col des Mouilles. The trail is adorned with delightful wildflowers, which are particularly beautiful during the spring season.
