A traditional sport, it combines a love of skiing and horse riding in Morzine, in that it involves being towed on your skis around a snowy track behind a horse. Kids and adults will love the indoor and outdoor rinks at the Parc des Dérêches in Morzine, as well as the quaint open-air rink in nearby Les Gets. Wrap up warm, grab an early dinner and head down to the Palais du Sport for an exciting, action-packed evening. Tickets are very reasonably priced and can be bought at the door or from the tourist office.

Scuba diving might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of things to do on your ski holiday, but ice diving in the waters of Lac Montriond is an experience like no other.
