After an energetic day in the mountains, Lodge Le Grizzly is the perfect place to come home to.

Relax with friends in the sauna as you catch up with the day’s adventures, or enjoy a glass of wine on the wraparound balcony before preparing the evening meal in the well-equipped kitchen. There’s plenty of room to eat together, either in the open plan dining area or on the piste-side terrace.

Later you can get together in front of the stunning fire in the living room to make plans for the next day.

Le Grizzly has six stylish bedrooms, all tastefully decorated and with their own stylish bath or shower rooms. Kids will be keen to get to bed in the bunk room, which has four hand-built beds, where they can dream of the fun still to come. They also get their own mezzanine play area, complete with books, games and a television. And if they're happy, you're happy too!

About the area ...

At Lodge Le Grizzly you’re perfectly placed to explore the whole of the La Clusaz/Le Grand Bornand ski area.

You’re right next to the La Clusaz lifts, and with your Aravis ski pass, you have access to 220km of pistes and 95 lifts, so you will never be short of somewhere new to explore. There’s great terrain for cross-country skiers at the nearby Confins and Beauregard plateaus.

Non-skiers will have no time to be bored, with an ice-skating rink and cinema in La Clusaz, as well as sledging, snow-shoe walking, dog-sledding and sleigh rides. If you’re looking for the ultimate in relaxation, let your cares float away in the village’s heated outdoor pool, while the snow falls gently around you.

There's just as much going on in the summer, and Lodge Le Grizzly’s position on the edge of La Clusaz means you won’t need a car to enjoy everything the mountains have to offer.

Hike into the Col des Aravis, or let the telecabine ferry you and your bike to the top, so you can come back down at your own pace. Other activities available in the area include horse-riding, climbing, via ferrata and paragliding. The mountains around La Clusaz are criss-crossed with tracks and paths, so there is somewhere new to discover.

The beautiful lakeside town of Annecy is just 30 minutes away by car, and is a great destination for a day out. The lake is said to be the cleanest in Europe and in the summer it’s a lovely place for water sports, cycling, swimming or you can just hire a boat and explore the lakeside beaches.

If you just want to relax, why not soak up the sun on the terrace or balcony, or visit the beautiful swimming pool complex in La Clusaz. Later you can catch up with friends and family over a barbecue back at Lodge le Grizzly, as the sun sets behind the mountains.
