if you're looking for variety when you ski, take a look at this charming chalet for 15 people in Le Miroir, Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise. This beautiful Savoie village is just five minutes from Les Arcs, where a link to La Plagne offers you 425km of pistes. There's another 300km of pistes at Tignes-Val d'Isère, accessed by Les Brévières (13km, free parking), and La Rosier is just 12km away - from here you can ski into Italy.
if you've got young children who are just finding their ski legs, the family-friendly resort of Sainte Foy, just five minutes from the chalet is a great place to start. There's some great off-piste skiing here too.
Back at the chalet, you'll find a ski room with boot warmers. There's a large living area with cosy sofas around an open fire, where you can get together in the evenings, as well as a separate games/TV room. The well-equipped kitchen has a large range cooker and everything you need to rustle up a hearty meal, and there's plenty of room around the table to eat together. This area also opens on to the wide, sunny balcony with views over the village to the mountains beyond.
The chalet has eight en suite bedrooms - six doubles, a twin and a single - some of which have access to a balcony.
