About the property

Accommodation at this elegant chalet is set over three floors. There are three bedrooms on the lower ground floor, each of which can be arranged with a kingsize or twin beds. Two have en suite shower rooms, and the third has a bathroom. There's a useful laundry room on this floor too, with a washing machine and a dryer.

The main entrance to the chalet is on the ground floor, where you'll find a WC and a ski room with plenty of storage and a heated boot rack. The beautiful open-plan living area has a central fireplace with cosy sofas and a TV on one side and a dining table and bar on the other. Doors open onto the spacious terrace, where you can enjoy views over the village and the beautiful Belleville valley. There's room to eat out here too, on a sunny day.

The well-equipped kitchen is separated from the dining area by an island unit.

There is another seating area on the top floor, with an office and TV area, as well as two bedrooms with kingsize/twin beds. One of these rooms has an en suite shower room, while the other has a bathroom and a private balcony with wonderful views.

About the area

The tranquil ski resort of St Martin de Belleville is a great hit with families, due to its relaxed atmosphere and a superb dedicated ski area for beginners.

You'll find a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants, but if you're looking for lively apres ski, you might have to travel a bit further.

Fast lifts and 600km of pistes across the Trois Vallees, Les Menuires, Meribel and Courchevel mean there's plenty of scope for winter sport enthusiasts.

There's lots for thrill-seekers in the summer too. Try paragliding, climbing, via ferrata or perhaps even white-water rafting and canyoning on the Isère river.
