There's just as much to see and do in the Trois Vallées in the summer, with walking, biking and climbing among the many activities.

About the property

This three-storey chalet sleeps eight people in four bedrooms with four bathrooms.

As you enter on the ground floor, you'll find the ski room and the sauna.

In the spacious living room on the first floor, leather sofas and chairs are arranged to take full advantage of the views and the enclosed fireplace - it's a great place to curl up and watch a film on a wintry evening. However, you might prefer to watch the sun set from the hot tub on the terrace!

Keen cooks will love the huge kitchen, which has a range cooker with two ovens. There's also a dishwasher, a microwave and everything you need to rustle up a delicious meal. You can all eat together at the dining table, which overlooks the terrace.

The first of the four double bedrooms is on this floor, along with a separate bathroom.

There are three more bedrooms on the top floor - a double room with an en suite bathroom and two twin rooms, one of which has an en suite shower room. There's also a separate bathroom on this floor.

About the area

The tranquil ski resort of St Martin de Belleville is a great hit with families, due to its relaxed atmosphere and a superb dedicated ski area for beginners.

You'll find a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants, but if you're looking for lively apres ski, you might have to travel a bit further.

Fast lifts and 600km of pistes across the Trois Vallees, Les Menuires, Meribel and Courchevel mean there's plenty of scope for winter sport enthusiasts.

There's lots for thrill-seekers in the summer too. Try paragliding, climbing, via ferrata or perhaps even white-water rafting and canyoning on the Isère river.
