Chalet Damima

Foodies are well catered for in St Martin de Belleville, where you'll find everything from restaurants serving Savoyard specialties to La Bouitte - a renowned restaurant with three Michelin stars. But if you'd rather cater for yourself, you'll also find a popular bakery, butcher and a small supermarket.

About the property

There's plenty of room for up to 14 guests (10 adults, four children) at this beautiful four-storey chalet.

On the lower ground floor, you'll find the sauna and cinema room - sink into the cosy sofas and immerse yourself in the film. There's also a bedroom with two sets of bunk beds and an en suite shower room, which is ideal for younger guests. Also on this floor are a laundry room and a separate WC.

The main entrance to the chalet is on the ground floor, which has access to the garage, a WC and the ski room with a heated boot rack. There's also a spacious bedroom with a large double bed, a desk, a balcony and an en suite shower room.

There are four more double bedrooms on the first floor, all of which have kingsize beds, desks, televisions and access to the balcony. The master suite has a spacious en suite bathroom with a bath, shower and double sink, while the other rooms have shower rooms with single sinks. As you'd expect, towels, robes and toiletries are provided in every bathroom.

You'll know just why the top floor has been devoted to the generous open-plan living area when you see the incredible views! Floor-to-ceiling windows let light flood in and frame the stunning scenery, and allow access to the balcony. Enjoy an apero before dinner, or perhaps an evening in the hot tub under the stars.

The stylish open kitchen makes cooking a pleasure, and there's plenty of room for everyone to eat together at the table. After dinner, you can curl up on the sofas in front of the fire - there's extra built-in seating around the edge of the room too.

There's a good selection of board games at the chalet and a SONOS sound system means you can listen to your own music.

About the area

The tranquil ski resort of St Martin de Belleville is a great hit with families, due to its relaxed atmosphere and a superb dedicated ski area for beginners.

You'll find a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants, but if you're looking for lively apres ski, you might have to travel a bit further.

Fast lifts and 600km of pistes across the Trois Vallees, Les Menuires, Meribel and Courchevel mean there's plenty of scope for winter sport enthusiasts.

There's plenty for thrill-seekers in the summer too. Try paragliding, climbing, via ferrata or perhaps even white-water rafting and canyoning on the Isère river.
