Overview

This charming 19th century chalet just outside the popular village of St Martin de Belleville has been immaculately renovated to offer a stylish base for 10 guests.

Using natural colours reflecting the Alpine scenery, the accommodation has been planned over three floors, offering everyone a good degree of privacy.

As you enter on the ground floor, you'll find yourself in the cosy living room, with a welcoming open fire surrounded by soft sofas. A wireless sound system and Google Chromecast means you can watch your own videos on the Smart TV.

The large open plan kitchen and dining area on the first floor is a really sociable area where everyone can get together to cook and eat. Sliding doors open on to the sunny balcony, where you can enjoy the uninterrupted views of the mountains.

The chalet has five bedrooms. There's a twin room with a private bathroom and an en suite double bedroom on the ground floor. On the second floor you'll find a large double room with an en suite bathroom, and a double and a twin room which share a luxury bathroom with a freestanding bath and shower.

It's just a five minute drive to the free Le Cochet car park in the village, which is right by the gondola. There's fast access to the 660km of pistes of the Trois Vallées and when you return at the end of the day, you'll find a a good selection of restaurants in St Martin de Belleville, including the three Michelin-starred La Bouitte. If you'd rather eat out closer to the chalet, try the wonderful Ferme Auberge Le Chantacoucou, which offers home-cooked food using the farm's own produce.

If ski-touring is your thing, the popular track that leads up to the mountain hamlets ‘Teton’ and ‘Lachat’ starts less than 50 meters from the front door.

We think this chalet is a great option if you’re looking for all of the facilities of a big resort, but with the charm, community and authenticity of an Alpine village.
