About the property

This superb chalet sleeps up to 12 guests in five beautiful en suite bedrooms. The master suite on the top floor has a freestanding bath, a walk-in shower and a wonderful balcony with breathtaking views. There are two rooms with queen-size beds, one with a shower room and the other with a shower, bath and access to the terrace. Another room with an en suite shower and access to the terrace can be arranged with a kingsize or twin beds, while the final room has four bunk beds, a shower room and an 80" cinema screen - a great place for younger guests to hang out!

In the impressive open-plan living area, you can enjoy cosy chats around the fire, coffee or an apero at the bar or get together on the large sofa to watch a film on the drop-down cinema screen. There's a well-equipped kitchen with Miele and Siemens appliances and a large dining table where you can all eat together while you enjoy the stunning views.

Doors open onto the large heated balcony, with steps down to the hot tub and and fire-pit terrace, which is the perfect place to enjoy some star-gazing.

The chalet also has a spacious ski room in the entrance, with a heated boot rack and plenty of storage, and a charging point for electric vehicles.

About the area

Just 4km from Morzine, the peaceful village of Montriond gives you easy access to the Morzine ski area, as well as Les Gets and Avoriaz.

With 650km of pistes in the Portes du Soleil ski area, there is plenty of scope for skiers and boarders of all ages and abilities.

If you’re not a skier, Morzine also offers indoor and outdoor ice skating rinks, which regularly host ice hockey matches, and the local cinema often shows films in English. The more adventurous might like to try snowmobiling or ice-climbing on some of the area’s frozen waterfalls, or discover the area in a more sedate manner on a sleigh ride.

Other ways to have fun include snowshoeing and sledging, while the Indiana adventure park offers a variety of activities for all ages.

In summer, the area is a great destination for an outdoor holiday. Walking, hiking and biking trails crisscross the mountains, and you can save your legs by taking the lift to the top and enjoying a leisurely descent.

You can swim, canoe or paddleboard at the lake at Montriond, or just enjoy a gentle walk around its shores before lunch at the restaurant.
