You can step out of your door on to the famous Kandahar piste when you stay at this fabulous luxury chalet near Les Houches, in the Chamonix valley.
A former farmhouse built in 1833, it has now been totally renovated to provide an incredible holiday property for up to 12 guests in contemporary comfort.
Ski back to your chalet at the end of an exhilarating day in the mountains, leave your equipment in the ski room and head to the sauna or hammam, where you can unwind and soothe your weary limbs. Enjoy an apero on the terrace or in the hot tub as you soak up the panoramic views of the the Mont Blanc Massif and the beautiful Fiz Mountain Range.
Cooking for a crowd is a really sociable affair in the sleek, open-plan kitchen, and you can all sit down to eat together at the beautiful bespoke table, which overlooks the Chamonix valley. There's plenty of soft, cosy seating around the central fireplace, in front of the huge picture windows which open on to the sunny terrace.
There's also a relaxing TV and chill-out area on the mezzanine floor overlooking the main living area, which is particularly popular with younger guests who want their own space but are still close enough to be supervised.
The chalet has five comfortable bedrooms. On the ground floor there are two en suite bedrooms which can be arranged with kingsize or twin beds, and a third kingsize/twin room which shares a 'Jack and Jill' bathroom with a bunk room, which has four custom-built beds. The final bedroom on the first floor is a kingsize/twin room with a corner bath and separate sink and WC.
This fabulous chalet is a great choice for a group of friends or families who want to spend as much time as possible in the mountains, and have a luxurious base where they can relax at the end of the day.
