About the property

This contemporary chalet sleeps 10 guests in four bedrooms with four bathrooms, spread over two floors and a mezzanine floor.

When you enter, you'll pass a useful laundry room with a washing machine, dryer and an ice maker, before going up the stairs to the first floor, where you'll find three bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have kingsize beds (160cm), storage and TVs, one has an en suite bathroom and the other has an en suite shower room. The third bedroom has two sets of bunk beds which are great fun for younger guests, although children aged six and under should not use the upper beds. There is also a bathroom with a shower and a steam room, and a separate WC. There is another room with a kingsize bed and en suite bathroom on the upper floor.

Light floods into the main living area on the upper floor, thanks to a wall of windows and doors that open onto the balcony. The beautiful kitchen has everything you need to cater for a crowd, including a large fridge-freezer, an induction hob and two dishwashers. The central island extends into a beautiful dining area with room for everyone to sit down together.

After dinner you can gather on the sofas around the fire to chat or watch TV. There's another TV room on the mezzanine floor, so you won't need to argue over the remote control!

The chalet also has a bubble sauna with fabulous views, a ski room with heated boot racks, a garage and parking.

About the area

When you stay at this beautiful chalet, you’re perfectly placed to explore the whole of the La Clusaz/Le Grand Bornand area and the Aravis mountains, which are a great year-round destination.

In winter, your Aravis ski pass gives you access to 220km of pistes and 95 lifts, so you will never be short of somewhere new to explore. There’s also great terrain for cross-country skiers at the nearby Beauregard and Confins plateaus.

Non-skiers will have no time to be bored, with an ice rink and cinema in La Clusaz, as well as sledging, snow-shoe walking, dog-sledding and sleigh rides. If you’re looking for the ultimate in relaxation, let your cares float away in the village’s heated outdoor pool, while the snow falls gently around you.

There's just as much going on in the summer. Hike into the Col des Aravis, or let the telecabine ferry you and your bike to the top, so you can come back down at your own pace. Other activities available in the area include horse-riding, climbing, via ferrata and paragliding. The mountains around La Clusaz are criss-crossed with tracks and paths, so there is always somewhere new to discover.

The beautiful lakeside town of Annecy is just 30 minutes away by car, and is a great destination for a day out. The lake is said to be the cleanest in Europe and in the summer it’s a lovely place for water sports, cycling, swimming or you can just hire a boat and explore the lakeside beaches.
