Overview
This unusual chalet for up to 12 people is in the beautiful Confins valley, just 900m from the Balme and Fernuy pistes, and 5km from the centre of La Clusaz.(*) The ski bus stops just 150m from the door and when you return to the chalet at the end of an active day in the mountains, you can relax in the steam room.
Built into the side of the mountain, the steeply-sloping site means you'll have wonderful uninterrupted views of the valley, from the terrace or the wraparound balcony.
You'll enter the chalet from the garage and parking area at the top of this split-level property, where you'll find a mezzanine area which overlooks the main living space. With a large sofa, chairs and a television, this a great area for older children to find their own space.
Downstairs, the spacious living area has two sofas arranged around the fireplace, and doors opening on to a spacious balcony. The stainless steel kitchen has everything you need to cook for a crowd, and there's a breakfast bar where you can grab a quick snack or just keep the cook company.
When dinner is ready, there's room for everyone to eat together at the large table overlooking the balcony.
The chalet has five bedrooms. The first has a large double bed, two singles beds and an en suite shower room. Bedroom 2, which has access to the terrace, has a double bed and an adjoining bathroom. Room 3 has a double bed, and room 4, which can be arranged with two single beds or a large double, has an en suite shower room. Both of these rooms have balcony access. The final bedroom has a kingsize bed, access to the balcony and an en suite shower room.
There's also a separate bathroom with a shower, bath and double basin, and two separate toilets.
The chalet has a garage as well as external parking and there's a laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
