About the property

Accommodation at this well-appointed chalet is set over three floors. As you enter on the first floor, you'll find a WC, plenty of storage and a bench, where you can take off your outdoor gear before heading into the open-plan living area.

Floor to ceiling windows make the most of the breathtaking views, and open onto the sunny terrace. Inside, sofas are arranged around a fireplace and HD television with sound system. There's a dining table big enough for everyone to eat together, a well-equipped kitchen and a wine cellar.

The master suite on this floor opens on to the hot tub terrace, and has twin beds which can be arranged as a kingsize bed. There's also an en suite bathroom.

There's another double/twin bedroom on the top floor with an en suite shower room.

You'll find three more bedrooms on the lower floor: two double/twin rooms which share a shower room and a children's room with six bunk beds and an en suite shower room. This room also has table football, floor cushions and plenty of space to play.

The private spa area, which is also on the lower floor, has a swimming pool with counter-current and massage jets, a steam room and a sensory shower. There's also a relaxing tea area, where you can complete your spa session with a herbal infusion.

Round off the perfect day in the home cinema, where you sink into the cosy armchairs and watch a film together.

About the area

The ski resort of Les Saisies is in a beautiful location, between the Beaufortain and the Val d'Arly valleys. It's part of the Espace Diamant ski domain, which takes in five other villages and has a total of 192km of pistes, with something for all levels. Les Saisies is one of the best places to try Nordic skiing - it was host to the cross country ski events in the 1992 winter Olympics.

Its proximity to Mont Blanc not only provides excellent views, but also above average snow conditions.

There's plenty to keep you busy in the summer too, with wonderful walks and mountain bike trails. There's also a great aquatic centre in Les Saisies, with jets, rivers, swimming lanes and a paddling pool for toddlers.

There's a busy high street, with plenty of shops and restaurants, from grills and creperies to fine dining. If you're looking for buzzing nightlife, you may be disappointed, but Les Saisies is a great choice for a family skiing or walking holiday.
