About the property

Accommodation at this cheery apartment is set over two floors. You'll find two bedrooms on the first floor, both of which have en suite shower rooms. The first is a double room with an extra single bed, and the second can be arranged with twin beds, or a kingsize bed.

There's another double / twin bedroom on the next floor, with an en suite bathroom and WC. The final bedroom has two single beds with another bed above.

The bright open-plan living area is beautifully decorated in pinks and greys, with great use of wood for that Alpine feel. There's a huge cosy sofa and pouffes where you can gather around the fire on winter nights, and a large dining table where you can all eat together. Glass doors flood the room with light, and open on to the balcony, with views across to the mountains.

The open kitchen is compact, but has everything you need to cook for a crowd.

The apartment also has a ski room and a garage.

About the area

The tranquil ski resort of St Martin de Belleville is a great hit with families, due to its relaxed atmosphere and a superb dedicated ski area for beginners.

You'll find a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants, but if you're looking for lively apres ski, you might have to travel a bit further.

Fast lifts and 600km of pistes across the Trois Vallees, Les Menuires, Meribel and Courchevel mean there's plenty of scope for winter sport enthusiasts.

There's lots for thrill-seekers in the summer too. Try paragliding, climbing, via ferrata or perhaps even white-water rafting and canyoning on the Isère river.
