About the property

This two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment is located right on the snow front in Saint-Martin-de-Belleville. Skiers can leave their equipment in the ski locker and pop their boots on the heated rack when they ski back to the property at the end of the day.

There's a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area and cosy seating area with chairs and a sofa in front of a wood-burning stove. Doors open onto a sunny, south-facing balcony which overlooks the foot of the piste - you'll be able to sit here with your apero and watch the last of the day's skiers return to the village.

The two bedrooms are perfectly arranged for a family - there's a double room on the mezzanine floor and a twin bedroom on the upper floor. The chalet also has a bathroom and a separate shower room.

About the area

The tranquil ski resort of St Martin de Belleville is a great hit with families, due to its relaxed atmosphere and a superb dedicated ski area for beginners.

You'll find a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants, but if you're looking for lively apres ski, you might have to travel a bit further.

Fast lifts and 600km of pistes across the Trois Vallees, Les Menuires, Meribel and Courchevel mean there's plenty of scope for winter sport enthusiasts.

There's lots for thrill-seekers in the summer too. Try paragliding, climbing, via ferrata or perhaps even white-water rafting and canyoning on the Isère river.
