About the property

The apartment sleeps six guests in three bedrooms - two double rooms and a third with a kingsize bed. Each bedroom has a television and there are three bathrooms.

After a busy day in the mountains, you'll look forward to getting together on the sofas in front of the fire, or perhaps watching for shooting stars from the covered balcony. The fully-fitted kitchen has everything you need to cook a hearty meal, and there's plenty of space to eat together at the dining table.

The apartment, which has a garage, is a great choice for families, who can enjoy all the buzz of the resort during the day before returning to this tranquil haven.

About the area

Megève is a great resort for families, whenever you decide to visit.

This charming town is part of the Evasion Mont Blanc ski area, which covers eight resorts, including Combloux and St Gervais. Together they have more than 400km of ski slopes and almost 120 lifts, so there's plenty of choice for everyone, from beginners to experts. It's often overlooked by the major tour operators, which means the slopes are often quiet, especially during the week and outside the main French holiday times.

In the summer, the mountains become a playground for walkers and cyclists. Golfers will love the 18-hole Domaine du Mont d'Arbois course, with outstanding views of Mont Joly and the Aravis mountains.

The Palais Megève leisure complex, the largest in the Alps, has an Olympic size ice rink, tennis courts, climbing walls and an impressive aquatic centre.

The town itself is chic yet authentic - you'll find a great choice of designer shops, cosy cafes and fine dining restaurants.

If you're looking for great apres ski, try La Folie Douce, at the top of the Mont Joux lift, which hosts parties every afternoon.
