1. Char des Quais Tour<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The first hike in our selection departing from Morzine<\/a><\/strong> takes you through the green pastures of the Encrenaz pass<\/strong>, bedecked in multicoloured flowers in the spring months. Cows graze here in these peaceful surroundings, which is of course the first step to making the delicious local Abondance cheese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The walk begins at the parking area above the village of La C\u00f4te d\u2019Arbroz, and you will loop around the Char des Quais via the Basse pass. From here, you can enjoy superb views of the Aravis mountains<\/strong>, the Mont Blanc range and the majestic Roc d\u2019Enfer (Hell\u2019s Rock).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the local Savoyard language, a \u201cchar\u201d (or \u201cchard\u201d) is a low mountain. If you\u2019re feeling up to it, there\u2019s also a path up to its summit, which sits at an altitude of 1,677m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Pointe de Nyo<\/strong>n<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This short walk links the car park at the Nyon plateau and Nyon point, where the summit at 2,019m offers a panoramic view of Morzine and the Aulps Valley<\/strong>. An orientation table will help you identify the main mountains in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Halfway to the summit, you will find a leisure area with a restaurant, life-size nature-based games for children, and even a mini educational farm where you can meet the animals.Return by the same route or take the open-air chairlift<\/strong> from Nyon Point for a breathtaking flight over the valley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
