How to get to Annecy<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Travelling by air<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The nearest airports to Annecy are\u00a0Geneva, Chamb\u00e9ry and Lyon Saint Exup\u00e9ry. There are regular flights via London airports and a train or car ride on the other side to reach Annecy.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travelling by train<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The direct TGV or high-speed train from Paris at the Gare de Lyon reaches Annecy in around 3 hours and 40 minutes. London St Pancras offers regular services to Paris Nord. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alternatively, the Part-Dieu station in Lyon or the airport Saint-Exupery station takes around 2 and a half hours. Once there, you can access direct regional express (TER) trains back to Lyon or to Grenoble, Valence, Chamb\u00e9ry and Chamonix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travelling by car<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Annecy is situated alongside the A41 Geneva to Grenoble motorway. From Marseille, Lyon or Chamb\u00e9ry, take the A41 exit to Annecy Centre n\u00b016 and from Paris, Gen\u00e8ve or Bourg-en-Bresse head onto the A41 Liane, exiting at Annecy Nord n\u00b017. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the UK, the A26 motorway route is convenient, via Dijon and Bourg-en-Bresse, taking around 8-9 hours. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019re departing from the southeast of France or Lyon, expect to arrive in around 2 hours. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
