Summer or winter, there\u2019s a lot to see at <\/span>Tueda Nature Reserve<\/span><\/a>. Choose from an easy stroll around the lake with a lunch stop at the Lac de Tueda restaurant, or hike up into the mountains for a meal at a refuge. Summer or winter, the Parc Olympique is a great day out, especially if the weather is bad. With a 25m swimming pool, fitness centre and gym, indoor climbing and an ice rink, it\u2019s home to plenty of activities in M\u00e9ribel! 6. Anyone for tennis?<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are several options for tennis players in Meribel, with ten all-weather courts in the <\/span>Bois D\u2019Arbin<\/span><\/a>. When you\u2019ve worked up a thirst, you can enjoy a drink in the club house before heading back to your <\/span>M\u00e9ribel chalet<\/span><\/a>. There are two more courts in M\u00e9ribel-Mottaret, near the tourist office, and a hard court available free of charge in Les Allues.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Treetop adventures<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Kids over the age of six (and 1m10 in height) will love swinging through the trees at this <\/span>adventure park<\/span><\/a>, with courses of various difficulties. Safety training is given, and the courses are monitored at all times. The park is open seven days a week, except in bad weather.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. Via ferrata<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A cross between hiking and mountain climbing, Via ferrata is a great way for the whole family\u00a0 to explore the mountains. You\u2019ll follow wire walkways, to which you are safely attached, and courses range in difficulty. Equipment such as helmets and harnesses are provided, but you\u2019ll need suitable footwear, and perhaps a pair of gloves. No previous experience is needed, but this is one of the <\/span>activities in M\u00e9ribel<\/span> that is best enjoyed in good weather conditions and, of course, with no fear of heights!<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. M\u00e9ribel golf club<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This 18-hole, 71-par course is a popular destination in summer \u2013 at 1565m and over, the high altitude means the ball flies further. The views are pretty good too! Expect narrow fairways and some steep walks. The course is open from June to September, and private lessons are available. Prices vary, according to the season.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

10. White water sports<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As the snow melts in the Alps the <\/span>Is\u00e8re river<\/span> becomes a cascading torrent, perfect for white water rafting, canyoning, hydrospeed and much more!
