in person using the <strong>CERFA<\/strong> form or online using <strong>D\u00e9claLoc<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>CERFA Form<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The declaration must specify the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The owner\u2019s identity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The owner\u2019s address.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The address of the rental property.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The number of rooms making up the property.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The number of beds.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The planned rental period(s).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Where applicable, the date of the classification decision and the classification level (star rating).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.formulaires.service-public.fr\/gf\/cerfa_14004.do\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CERFA form<\/a><\/strong> has been introduced for this very purpose and owners can give permission for a representative such as a <strong>real estate agent or property manager<\/strong> to complete it on their behalf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the property undergoes a significant modification such as a new official classification score, a change of owner, an increase\/decrease in the capacity, etc, then <strong>a new declaration is necessary<\/strong>. However, in principle, if the <strong>planned rental periods change, a new declaration is not required.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-declaloc\">D\u00e9claLoc<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.declaloc.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>D\u00e9claLoc<\/strong><\/a> is an online service available in some municipalities. Download the P0i form<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To download the form, first head to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.service-public.fr\/particuliers\/vosdroits\/R13748?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">this webpage<\/a><\/strong>. Find your local Comercial Court<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The form then needs to be sent to your local Commercial Court. To find its address, enter your postcode <a href=\"https:\/\/www.infogreffe.com\/\/web\/guest\/greffe-tribunal\/greffiers-tribunal-de-commerce.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Send the P0i form to the address starting with \u201cTribunal de Commerce\u201d. Ie this is <strong>not their primary source of income<\/strong>. Owners are legally responsible for collecting, declaring, and paying the correct amount of tax to the local Mayor\u2019s office.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Each local commune sets the level of tax to be paid per guest per night, the age range of those required to pay the tax, and if a tourist tax is to be charged at all.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Owners declare guest numbers monthly, and pay the taxes due twice a year to the commune, on behalf of their guests. Most communes are affiliated with the D\u00e9claLoc platform for the declaration and payment of tourist tax collection.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Check your local commune website, or ask your local Tourist Office for more information about registration, declaration and payment of local Tourist taxes. They can also provide information on initiatives and projects funded by the tourist tax each year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-much-is-the-taxe-de-sejour\"><strong>How much is the taxe de s\u00e9jour?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The amount guests have to pay depends on the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ovonetwork.com\/blog\/official-classification\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">official classification<\/a><\/strong> (star rating) of the property.
