This historic town is renowned as a summer destination, but it has nearly as much to offer in the winter. Simply strolling around the old town is worth the trip. Beautiful buildings everywhere you look, the tranquillity of the waterways and wonderful restaurants and cafes to try. My personal favourite restaurant is <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lestaminet-annecy.com\/restaurant-annecy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">l\u2019Estanimet<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with its cosy atmosphere and friendly staff, not to mention the great food. And the best coffee in town (in my opinion) is found at the Caf\u00e9 des Arts, which is cosy little cafe situated in the old prison building right in the middle canal.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If it\u2019s culture you\u2019re after you can visit the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/musees.agglo-annecy.fr\/eng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">castle museum<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and it\u2019s amazing gallery above the city. As with most French resorts there is an ice rink and a fairly impressive <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ovonetwork.com\/guide\/listings\/espace-aquatique-des-aravis-la-clusaz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">swimming pool<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, but new and exciting venues are regularly appearing. The most recent of these is a brand new four lane bowling alley, aptly named \u2018<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bowling-laclusaz.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le Bowling<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2019.
